To remain current on appraisal methods and industry issues, National Equipment Appraisal actively participates in several professional associations. These organizations offer valuable collaboration among its members by providing education and current thinking about issues facing businesses and their owners.

National Equipment and Business Brokers Institute. (www.nebbinstitute.com)

The Institute provides initial and monthly comprehensive education, on-going support, a dynamic national network, and certifies professionals in the art of machinery/equipment appraisal and brokerage.

Only qualified professionals who meet the Institute’s stringent qualifications earn the prestigious professional designation of a Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser (CMEA). There are approximately 400 CMEA’s in the United States and all the appraisers at National Equipment Appraisal are in good standing with the Institute.

Mark Richardson is a National Conference speaker and contributes to the continuing education curriculum of the National Equipment and Business Brokers Institute. He has also published several articles relating to issues of valuation and appraisal.
